Are you seeking what God’s plans are for your family this year?
I sit here in the passenger side of the car on vacation. My husband, Robert, is driving and our son, Daniel is in the back seat gabbing away happily, reading books, and just enjoying the ride. We’re not too far away from our destination Gatlinburg, Tennessee now, and I am here pondering on the things to come and what God has done in this last year.
Side note/Parenting tip – Go to library before a family trip and get books for your kids about the place you are visiting for the car ride.
Those of you who know me know 2019 year was a year of healing for me. God’s been doing a work in me which I know He is bringing to completion. For my family, we’ve been intentional about serving God together as a unit not just individually. I went from working as a full-time RN at a high school to a part-time RN in an allergy department at an ENT office to be able to be present with my family not only physically but emotionally. Are there some changes you and your family need to make this year?
Be expectant for 2020 and seek God for His Plans for Your Family
Take some time out of your day to pray together as a family to see what God wants you to start doing together this year or changes you need to make. We like to take communion together at home, put on worship music, listen to God, and pray. We also pray over each other with anointing oil. Every time looks different for our family, and it will for you too. Let’s start off 2020 by not trying to plan our own lives without seeking what His plans are for us.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:5-8 ESV
We are so excited to see what God is going to do in your lives and our in 2020. Seek God as a family and your year will turn out better than you even imagine. God in the center. (:
We will be putting out even more content from our family to yours this year. Stay tuned for our next post on becoming healthy as a family in the new year. Check out more of our blog posts for your family here.

Amen

I love this!! May I add you are also a talented writer. Love you and your family. Yes, bill and I have to get intentional about praying together. We listen to worship music, talk about scriptures, but definitely fall short in praying together. Thank you for this
